David Clifford will also be lining out as West Kerry take on St Brendan’s, and Jason Byrne recalls his first memories of the superstar talent.
“The first memory I have of him really was in that 2017 minor final when he got 4-4 for Kerry v Derry.
“Usually for a minor game, you wouldn’t have everyone in their seat in the press box or some journalists would be doing their research.
“But this was different, and you even had stewards coming in saying ‘you need to see what’s going on out here’.
“It was like looking at a game of Fifa and someone had Leo Messi on the controller. Then he went in senior the following year and was Young Footballer of the Year.
“I’m so excited to see what he’ll become if he stays injury-free.”
