Limerick are bidding to win the Munster title for the 24th time; Clare are seeking their seventh success.

They meet in the final for a second successive year; Limerick won by three points after extra time last year.

Clare won three and lost one of their four Munster games this year. Limerick won two, drew one and lost one of their four games.
