A look ahead to the Christy Ring, Nickey Rackard and Lory Meagher Cup finals taking place in a Croke Park triple header.
RING, RACKARD AND MEAGHER FINALS TAKE CENTRE STAGE
After hectic Leinster and Munster campaigns there’s a lull in provincial action next weekend, with both finals on the following Sunday, 11th June.
However, there’s still plenty to enjoy next Saturday with finals in the Christy Ring, Nickey Rackard and Lory Meagher Cup taking place in a Croke Park triple header.
- Lory Meagher: Lancashire v Monaghan, 1.00pm.
- Nickey Rackard: Donegal v Wicklow, 3.00pm.
- Christy Ring: Derry v Meath, 5.00pm.
It’s Clare v Limerick and Galway v Kilkenny in the Munster and Leinster finals on Sunday week, repeats of the 2022 provincial finals which were won by Kilkenny and Limerick, respectively.
Meanwhile Dublin, Carlow, Offaly and Tipperary have all qualified for preliminary quarterfinals.
That leaves eight counties in contention for the Liam MacCarthy Cup.
Dublin replace Wexford as Leinster’s third All-Ireland qualifier; Tipperary replace Cork in Munster.
Carlow (winners) and Offaly (runners-up) replace Antrim and Kerry as the Joe McDonagh Cup representatives in the All-Ireland race.
