10. Laois
Much like Dublin, the challenge for Laois will be keeping their panel healthy and having their best 15 to 20 players ready throughout the championship.
There is talent in the county but not all of it is committing, and the draw has been unfavourable as the O’Moores return to the Liam MacCarthy level.
Dublin, a side out for revenge, come first and a win will seal a date with Eddie Brennan’s native Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final.
Brennan will have two weeks less than Dublin to prepare for the championship due to the dates of their respective county finals, and being without your full panel for that amount of time has to take a toll.
Yet they showed in 2019 that they are capable of rising to a challenge, and they have quality in the side.
