Previews of the big games this weekend: Monaghan v Kerry, Dublin v Meath, Galway v Mayo, and Donegal v Tyrone

Shane Stapleton and former Carlow and current Down minor coach Steven Poacher preview the big games this weekend: Monaghan v Kerry, Dublin v Meath, Galway v Mayo, and Donegal v Tyrone.

The National Football Leagues return to action this weekend after a break of 231 days.

A number of issues still have to be sorted out across the divisions as we enter the last two rounds of regulation games.

This weekend, Padraic Joyce’s Galway — who have recently been put through their paces by Jim McGuinness — are in action against their neighbours Mayo.

Dublin, with manager Dessie Farrell, still in his first season at the helm entertain a Meath side that has lost all five games so far in their campaign.

Donegal also meet Ulster rivals Tyrone, while Kerry make the long trip to Monaghan.

Steven Poacher joins Shane Stapleton to talk about all the games in the top tier, the issues facing Fermanagh, Down pushing for a return to Division 2, and much more.
