Limerick GAA have sent out on update on the fitness of the centre-back and inspirational captain Declan Hannon.
Limerick will have to plan for next monthโs All-Ireland SHC semi-final without Declan Hannon.
The Adare man has been a key player in the centre of the Treaty defence in recent seasons and has collected three All Stars.
He has been captain for each of the four All-Ireland titles his side has won since 2018.
โDeclan sustained a knee injury during last Sundayโs Munster Final that will rule him out for the All-Ireland semi-final in three weeksย time,โ read a Limerick statement.
โWe wish him well in his recovery in the coming weeks and look forward to seeing him back on the field once again.
