Limerick will have to plan for next month’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final without Declan Hannon.

The Adare man has been a key player in the centre of the Treaty defence in recent seasons and has collected three All Stars.

He has been captain for each of the four All-Ireland titles his side has won since 2018.

“Declan sustained a knee injury during last Sunday’s Munster Final that will rule him out for the All-Ireland semi-final in three weeks time,” read a Limerick statement.

“We wish him well in his recovery in the coming weeks and look forward to seeing him back on the field once again.
