Shane Stapleton and David Connors of the Tuam Herald look ahead of the final four of Galway: Moycullen v Tuam Stars and Corofin v Mountbellew/Moylough.
Tuam Stars were moments away from dethroning Corofin as Galway county champions in 2019.
Gary Sice knocked over a late leveller from a free to send the game to a replay, and from there the big guns would go on to complete an All-Ireland three-in-a-row.
David Connors of the Tuam Herald feels that Tuam aren’t going quite as well in the 2020 championship, and makes a case for Moycullen in their semi-final clash.
Corofin, who have won 18 county titles since 1991, will be heavily fancied to send Mountbellew/Moylough packing — with the absence of John Daly a huge blow to the latter side.
