The lads discuss a bumper weekend of Gaelic games action with Barry Hennessy, Naoise Waldron and Paddy Keenan joining in.

We start off the review of this weekend by analysing Kilkenny’s 2-22 to 0-22 win over Cork in the NHL semi-final at Nowlan Park.

Naoise Waldron was doing co-commentary there for TG4 Sport, and had a bird’s eye view of the fracas between the teams midway through the second half.

Eoin Downey received a red card and is set to miss the Rebels’ Munster opening against Waterford, with the decision looked at by the lads.

Barry Hennessy, the former Limerick goalkeeper, speaks of how John Kiely and his backroom team have traditionally looked at Cork, and we speak of why they came up short on a big day once more.

Next up is the clash of the Treaty and Tipperary at the Gaelic Grounds, a game decided by an incredible second-half blitz from the hosts.

Limerick went on a scoring run of 1-11 to 0-2 during the latter period, and Hennessy gives his take on Tipperary failing to stem the tide.

Shane Stapleton wonders if the visitors might have killed the game in the manner that top teams often do, while he also reveals an interesting stat from the second half.

Paddy Kennan, Louth’s sole All Star, then joined the show to discuss The Wee County’s clash with Dublin, and the reappearance of Stephen Cluxton.

He also takes a quick Q&A, and gives his thoughts on the runners and riders in the championship.
